About
Investor's Journey exists to help people become better long-term investors.
My own journey began nearly two decades ago:
- I bought Apple in 2008 at a split-adjusted price of ~$5.
- I sold Apple...in 2008...at a split-adjusted price of ~$4.
I've done the math...
Just about all of the collected wisdom about investing is contained in that one experience.
Everything Ben Graham taught Warren Buffett about how to think about markets and your margin of safety is there. Everything Charlie Munger taught Buffett about buying wonderful businesses at fair prices is there. And just about everything Buffett has taught millions of us through his letters to shareholders about the simple, but not easy nature of investing is there.
Thankfully, for your sake, it isn't my wisdom (whatever thin layer there may be) that I aim to share here. It's the wisdom of Graham, Buffett, Munger, Nick Sleep, Li Lu and many others that will light our way.
It's my belief that the best chance we have at achieving above-average returns for many years to come is to walk in the footsteps of these giants. That's a journey worth taking
I hope you’ll join me.
P.S. We'll have some fun along the way. Here again, we can follow Warren Buffett's example.
